In order to support the development of sustainable infrastructure in Indonesia through the Public-Private Partnership (KPBU) scheme, the Directorate of Development Funding Development, Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas held a Market Engagement Forum with the theme Making Public-Private Partnership Actionable for Boosting Infrastructure Investment on Tuesday (12/11).
Moya was present as a resource person in the Approach to Attract Investor Interest in KPBU Projects session. PT Air Semarang Barat, a subsidiary of Moya, was one example of KPBU results presented on the occasion. It was also conveyed that the supporting factors for good KPBU are the development of integrated upstream to downstream SPAM, thorough project preparation and commitment from the parties including the Central Government, Regional Government, and Perumda.
With Moya’s experience in partnering with the government through the KPBU scheme, especially in SPAM projects, as well as insights related to project management based on community participation, it is hoped that it will provide a very valuable perspective for the participants.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a more mature and robust infrastructure funding ecosystem will be created, so that Indonesia can accelerate the development of highly competitive infrastructure and provide a positive impact on the wider community.
